A,B,F,M and R

Okay, let me just tell yall about a guy that is named..we´ll call him F.

One day late at night, we were headed home when we spotted F. We weren´t going to contact him, because contacting men late at night normally isn´t a very good thing. For some reason, I contacted him. He accepted and committed to go to church the next day. We called him Sunday in the morning and persuaded him to go to church. He said...okaaayyy.

The week after he went to church was such a good week for him in his work that he said--the difference is that I went to church this week!!--so the next week he went to church again until finally this Saturday he was baptized. He said yesterday in the principles class that it is important to keep going to church so that one day we can live with God again.

He is such a cool guy! He had a shady past, but now he will receive the priesthood. I am grateful we were able to contact him and help him on his way.

¨For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore he receiveth no reward. Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness; For the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good they shall in nowise lose their reward. But he that doeth not anything until he is commanded, and receiveth a commandment with doubtful heart, and keepeth it with slothfulness, the same is damned. Doctrine and Covenants 58: 26-29

R, who was baptized last week, said this week ¨I want to have the Priesthood so that I can help others.¨ He is preparing to receive the priesthood in three weeks.

B, a 17 year old investigator, woke up at six yesterday to meet us in the park to go looking for all our investigators so that they would go to church at eight thirty. He has been going to church and youth activities every week and is seriously looking for the truth. He still hasn´t found his answer. Prayers for him would be appreciated.

M is going to church every sunday and even though he doesn´t learn very fast, he said this week that ¨every week he would go to church and that he already is mormon, just needs to be baptized.¨

A was really excited when we had a family home evening in her house with her family. She just got divorced this week and has been needing a lot of help from Heavenly Father. The family home evening helped her to relax and to feel the spirit, then play and have fun, and of course, eat something yummy.

Things are going great and we are seeing a lot of progress in the investigators and recient converts here. That is what always makes me happy--to see that they are changing, repenting, and getting better. Whatever price I have to pay, whatever thing I have to do, whatever stretch I  have to make--I will do it for them. I love the people here, and I love this place. I love being a missionary! It is all worth it!! :)

Love you all!!
